Jessica Bergeron began career as a classroom teacher after obtaining a degree in English at Spelman College and a Masters in Education from Smith College. She quickly developed interest in educational research and returned to school to obtain a doctorate degree in Education from Georgia State University with a special research focus on adult learning. Jessica thrives in situations where there is a need to visualize all of the moving parts and players of the big picture, such as how government, non-profit, philanthropic, and volunteers need to intersect and interact best to create a desired outcome. She enjoys helping people come together around conflict or change to find a common purpose and turn that common agenda into an implementation plan that has measurable outcomes for success. Most recently, she worked with the Georgia Department of Education to set up a state-wide system to provide testing services for children with special needs. She has also held positions at the YMCA of Metro Atlanta as one of their leaders for their Head Start program as well as the Atlanta Speech School’s the Rollins Center.

Nick retired from the United States Army after more than 42- years of service as an American Soldier. He began his Army career as an enlisted Soldier drafted from his native state of North Carolina. As an enlisted soldier, he held numerous military occupation specialties including electronics warfare operator; telemetry analyst; telecommunications operator; an infantry platoon sergeant. He was later commissioned upon graduation from Officer Candidate School in 1977.

Charles Sills is a recognized authority on U.S. Government Contracting, and an advocate for Small Business/Diversity Supplier access to Federal and Military procurement.  He has helped Prime Contractors qualify Diversity Suppliers for teaming and subcontracting, and facilitated Federal ‘Mentor-Protégé’ partnerships between Minority, Woman and Veteran owned companies and Fortune 1000 Primes.  As the National Program Director for the U.S. Defense Leadership Forum, a public service organization, he plans and moderates Defense Contracting Summits on Army, Navy, Air Force, Military Construction, Space Defense and Innovative Tech procurement opportunities – with an emphasis on informing Small and Minority Businesses on upcoming contract opportunities.  Previously, Mr. Sills served in Lockheed Martin’s International Division, where he directed strategic marketing for the Missile and Space divisions covering the Mideast, North Africa and Southern Europe, managed export control issues, and led the company’s renewable energy technology business development effort.  He also served as a member of the Danube Task Force, the governing council that ran the Danube Basin Environmental Restoration Program led by the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development and the UN Development Program, involving 13 countries from Austria to Moldova.  Mr. Sills is a former Naval Intelligence Officer who served in a succession of National Security positions in the Pentagon, including the National Military Intelligence Center and the Defense Intelligence Agency/Worldwide Estimates Directorate (Deputy Director), following assignments on the staff of the U.S. Middle East Force Command based in Bahrain and responsible for the Indian Ocean theater, and the Geopolitical Briefing & Analysis Division, Supreme Allied Commander NATO/Atlantic.  He has an M.A. in Defense & Foreign Policy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts & Harvard Universities), and an A.B. from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.
